TikTok Integration Data

When you connect your TikTok account, we access:

• TikTok username and display name
• Profile picture URL
• Live stream donation data (during active streams only)
• Follower events (during active streams only)
• Chat messages (during active streams only)

Usage Data

We automatically collect:

• Login timestamps
• Feature usage statistics
• Browser type and version
• IP address (for security purposes)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain our service
• Process auction donations and display leaderboards
• Send follow alerts during your streams
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account
• Send important service notifications
• Improve our features and user experience
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Live stream data (donations, messages) is stored temporarily in memory during active sessions and is not permanently saved. We implement security measures including JWT authentication, secure HTTPS connections, and regular security audits.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data in these limited circumstances:

• With your consent: When you explicitly authorize sharing
• Service providers: Payment processors and hosting services (bound by confidentiality agreements)
• Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. TikTok Data

We access TikTok data only during your active streaming sessions and only for features you've enabled. We do not store TikTok passwords. You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time. TikTok data accessed through our service is subject to TikTok's own Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use local storage (not cookies) to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. We do not track your activity outside of TikLink.

You have the right to:

8. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Live stream data is stored temporarily during sessions and deleted after. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except as required by law.

9. Children's Privacy

TikLink is not intended for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. International Users

TikLink is operated from the European Union. If you access our service from outside the EU, your data may be transferred to and processed in the EU, which has strong data protection laws (GDPR compliance).

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or dashboard notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
